Fashola unveils Ajangbadi water works

The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babatunde Fashola, on Thursday inaugurated a mini-water works project in Ajanbgbadi, a town in Ojo Local Government.
Chairman, Ajangbadi Oniba One, Mr Timothy Disu, said the gesture was "salvation from poverty and disease".
According to Disu, financial resources that are supposed to be invested in many of their needs end up being used for the purchase of water from water vendors.
Disu, who said he had been living in Ajangbadi since the early 90’s, had been patronising water vendors and sometimes getting water from neighbours‘ boreholes.
