In a bid to satisfy the yearnings of Nigerians who are desirous of having luxury homes in serene environment, one of Nigeria’s leading mortgage firms, Spring Mortgage, has unveiled 10-unit semi-detached four-bedroom duplexes at Beachview Estate, Igbo-Efon along Lekki-Epe Expressway.

Spring Mortgage, Daily Independent learnt, is using the houses to make a statement on how modern houses should be built at a time when houses are being built only for business purpose and not for the comfort of the would-be occupants. A unit in the estate s expected to include one bedroom boys’ quarters.

The estate is not the first attempt of the mortgage firm in direct housing delivery as the company is currently working on an estate in Ikorodu, while it is also looking forward to start another estate in Agbara.

Managing Director of the company, Mr. Ifeanyi Onuorah, in a chat with Daily Independent, said his mortgage outfit is using development of these houses as a way of demonstrating its sincerity in providing affordable and comfortable houses for Nigerians.

He added that it is the responsibility of his mortgage bank to reduce the rate of homelessness in the country and guide its numerous clients on how to access loans from the company and build houses, stressing that the company is playing its role as a home provider and facilitator well to the satisfaction of its clients.

"Spring Mortgage is a serious company. We are not only interested in making money but our joy is to make more Nigerians home owners. We have been demonstrating this in most of the projects we are involved in over the years. We want to give mortgage banking a new face of integrity and sincerity.

"Our clients are our priority in everything we do and are living witnesses to what we have done in the past and what we are currently doing. The houses we are building at Beachview Estate are one of the ways we want to contribute our own quota to the building industry. Our houses are not just beautiful; they are simply one of the best around", Onuorah stated.

On completion, the estate, according to Onuorah, will boast of the best facilities available in the country, while the company has concluded plans with leading contactors to execute civil, electrical and other works meant to make the estate the best around.

Some of the facilities being expected in the estate are good access road, well networked drainage system, flood lights, security lights, paved compound, standby power supply, landscape and perimeter fencing, swimming pool and 24-hour uniformed security personnel.

Though, a price has not being fixed for the houses, but it was gathered that the price will be the best offer in the market for the type of houses that will eventually be built in the estate, while the first three interested occupants will enjoy a special discount being offered by the company.
