New Mowe Estates Offer Home Seekers Options

As part of its contribution to the housing needs of the people, especially those at the lower level of society, a foremost private property developer, Cross and Churchill Realtors Limited, has put in place a site and service scheme designed to empower investors.
The scheme is located at Mowe-Ofada along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, Mr.Taiwo Ogunbodede, dropped the hint in an interactive session with media executives in his office at Lekki.
According to him, the vision of the company encapsulates what it intends to achieve specifically for the fresh investors. He was quick to add that its vision is to become the destination point for all facets of professional real estate products and services with trust, professionalism, creativity and robust customer-care which underscores the company's operating philosophy.
Ogunbodede said that in striving to achieve this objective, the company's mission is to be the undisputable destination point for the provision of first class and customer-centric real estate solutions within the Nigerian and sub-Saharan landscape.
He said that since the company came into existence about a year ago, it has sod serviced plots at Twin City (its first project at Mowe) that is about 240 plots, adding that the plots at the site of the first phase of the project had been completely sold out.
According to him, facilities at the Twin City include the provision of gate fencing, borehole, transformer, road just to mention a few.
He went on to say that another project that the company had also embarked on is the Green Oak Park, which is located on 1,200 plots. He added that the idea behind the project is to sell a part of the scheme, while the remaining part would be set aside for real construction.
Ogunbodede pointed out that delivery date for the Green Oak project is 2010, adding that of Twin City has been fixed for June 2009.
The banker turned real estate developer said that the asking price for a plot at Twin City phase one is N250, 000.00k, while a plot of land at the phase two of Twin City goes for N375,000.
He said that a plot of land on Green Oak sells for N500,000 in phase one whole a plot of land in phase two is N700,000.
Sole of the facilities in Green Oak Park 2 include properly laid-out plots, gated and secured community, estate perimeter fencing, properly planned streets and earth road networks, prototype building designs, provision of borehole, provision of transformer, easy access to major highways like Lagos-Ibadan, Sagamu-Ore.
He said a unique thing about their payment schedule for plots sold at their sites is that a prospective subscriber is allowed to pay 30 per cent of the total cost of the plot, adding that the remainder could be spread over a periods of 12 months.
